As part of your engagement, the Church requires marriage preparation. We want you to be well-prepared for this extraordinary decision and commitment. After all, you are making a life-long commitment to each other through vows before God!

We hope that this preparation helps you appreciate the beauty of getting married in the Catholic Church - a gift of receiving abundant graces to live a joyful life together. We also hope that, through this process, you learn more about each other and yourselves before you get married.

Marriage Prep in the Diocese of Harrisburg, albeit legitimate and extreme circumstances, is between nine months - one year. The button on the button of this page provides the list of things needed to be done for Marriage Preparation with Fr. Andrew. This list presumes that you have already reached out to Fr. Andrew and have had an initial meeting with him.
